How He Got Here

Hey everybody,  today we went to an event for the GFWC.  My grandfather was in the Rotary Club.
 That helped him and his wife to make the choice to start being a host family for many,many, many exchange students. He himself did not come from this country. He immigrated here from Korea.  He went to the USA alone, half way across the world and all the way across a country.  He made his way from Seattle, Washington, to Castleton, Vermont.  I know  that is short but this isn't about entertainment , this is about honoring him. Thank You

     This new blog is about life after my grandpa died in 1990 of stomach cancer.  He was an oral surgeon. His daughter was only 15.  I made this blog loving memory of him even though I have never met him. I've only heard good stories about him. By the way, I am Nana Ko's granddaughter.  Nana was married to my grandpa
